Throughout the years 800,000 youths from over 127 different countries have par ticipated in the Gothia Cup. More than 1,500 teams partake yearly. Obviously these are staggering numbers, but perhaps we are proud of something more that cannot be expressed in numbers. Kattegat Cup - Accommodation: Is provided in schools close to the football pitches. Every team has a classroom of its own during the tournament. Please bring your own sleepingbag and airmattress. Free transport At arrival in Grenaa and Ebeltoft there will also be free transport by bus from the train/ ferry/ airport to schools. During the tournament there will also be free transport to and from the schools and the sports center. Events: Besides football, Kattegat Cup has lots of other things to offer. Visits can be arranged to the most popular sites in the area, such as the Kattegat Centre with Denmark’s biggest shark basin and tropical sharks, Djurs Amusement Park with more than 60 exciting activities – e. g. a huge water area, an African area and Rio Grande Rafting. Many other rides and activities Grenaa also has a great beach, where you can relax on the white sand and in the clear waters after a hard day.
